The PADDED COLLARS and SUEDE HEEL GRIP are soft on the tender skin around the ankle. The HEEL STIFFENER provides lateral heel support giving you more security when walking.
GEL CUSHIONING is built into selected Kumfs' inlays. It offers the ultimate in shock absorption right where it's needed most.
The STEEL SHANK under the arch of heeled styles helps shoe keeps its shape and gives the wearer constant support to the longitudinal arch and ultimately the back.
POLYURETHANE is used for the soles of most Kumfs styles because it is light, flexible, slip resistant, hardwearing, and stable. Tiny bubbles of air trapped within the PU cushion so feet are supported and comfortable with every step.

It's designed specifically for footwear and recovers on impact, bouncing back after every step ensuring cushioning for the life of the shoe. Kumfs Poron® insole is very light, flexible, soft, and helps absorb pavement shock, lessening damage to the feet, legs, hips and spine when walking. .
LEATHER SOCK LININGS are soft and breathable, drawing moisture away from the feet. They help eliminate 'sticky' feet, leaving them cooler and more comfortable.
GENUINE LEATHER UPPERS mould to the wearer's feet because the leather is specially chosen to be strong yet super soft and supple, giving an individual fit.
ROCKER SOLES on selected styles create a gentle rolling motion, propelling the foot forward which takes pressure off arthritic joints for stress-free walking.
